Liverpool John Moores University have invested heavily in the physical infrastructure of our estate and in management to support the co-ordination of servicing our buildings, facilities, open spaces and cleaning.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager who will play a crucial role in leading the campus support teams with an emphasis on managing soft services delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
You will connect on a daily basis with students, staff, and guests. It is essential all Facilities staff are ‘customer oriented’, as they are often the first contact for the University. You will be responsible for leading and developing a ‘can do’ attitude, combined with delivery of outstanding service to stakeholders.
Reporting to the Head of Campus Support (Facilities), you will lead on the strategic and operational aspects of services across your campus. You will be a strong advocate of Estate and Facilities Management, with a track record of change leadership and continuous improvement. This position will offer a significant leadership opportunity and contribute to the broader direction of the University.
You will have a first degree or professional equivalent qualification within a subject area relevant to Estates and Facilities Management or proven track record of extensive work experience in this field.
