Due to successful and continued expansion of the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, we are looking to recruit an Associate Lecturer in Clinical and Biological Sciences.
This new post will be based within the School of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences which has a strong reputation and expertise in developing Advanced Practitioners and Physician Associates within the North-West.
Working as an Associate Lecturer, the role provides an excellent opportunity to gain a wide range of experience in learning, teaching and assessment practice with the support and guidance of senior academic colleagues.
We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate a passion for working with advanced practitioners as well as the medical and physician associate team to support the continued success of our students. You may be a graduate or an early career academic with a willingness to develop and achieve a teaching qualification/HEA accreditation. Alternatively, you may already have clinical experience but are looking to use your highly transferable skills to take on a new challenge. Naturally, we are absolutely committed to teaching excellence and therefore we will do all we can to ensure your success as you embark upon your career in academia.
Of course, you must have a first degree in a relevant area together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in an accessible way to a range of audiences.
Full details of the role can be found on our website. However, please contact HR on 01204 903 582 should you wish to arrange an informal chat to discuss the role in more detail.
This is a full-time post but we would also welcome applications from those who may be interested in working more flexibly, e.g. job share.
