Registry and Academic Affairs are looking to appoint a highly driven and efficient individual with a passion for delivering services to an exceptionally high standard to join the Postgraduate Research senior team.

This opportunity involves the management and leadership of five multi-functional faculty-based teams, directly involved in the delivery of the postgraduate research student journey, involving the maintenance of student records throughout their time with us, policy implementation and advising on study regulations.

The post holder will share responsibility for the line management of the busy and dynamic postgraduate research team and they will jointly contribute to continual review, monitoring and development of processes and practices to improve the service provided to both staff and students in line with the University Strategy. They will ensure that all key activities and resources are managed effectively to deliver to agreed expectations, and create innovative responses to any issues and blockers as they arise.

Successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of leading and motivating a team and maintaining a positive performance culture. You will need to be highly enthusiastic, self-motivated and have a strong customer service background. You must be committed to collaborative team working and have the ability to work independently. Equally important are excellent planning, organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Our teams work in an agile way, across our Registry & Academic Affairs hub offices on University Park, Jubilee, Medical School and Sutton Bonington campuses. Team members could be asked to work from any of these locations as well as remotely working from home for part of the week.

Work patterns may fall between the hours of 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Multiple posts are available both permanent and fixed term (until 30/06/2023) . We will accept applications from candidates looking to work both full (36.25 hours) and part time hours (minimum 29 hours). Job share arrangements maybe considered.
