About the role:
UWE Bristol’s Marketing, Events & Tourism (MET) department delivers an innovative, practice-led curriculum, where research informs teaching practice. Our team has a range of well-established stakeholder engagement activities regionally, nationally, internationally and we are seeking someone who can contribute fully to our departmental research, teaching & external engagement. MET is a vibrant & growing team, currently comprising of 40 academic members of staff.
The role will focus on optimising the best learning outcomes for our students by delivering exceptional teaching & learning on academic programmes. You will also engage in research. knowledge exchange or other activities that enhance and inform teaching design & curriculum development.
To flourish in this role, you will be confident, outgoing and comfortable working as part of a team who teaches large modules, as well as working independently on smaller, specialist marketing modules.

You will hold a postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, be committed to teaching & research and want to make a significant contribution to teaching activities of the group at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
