Part Time, Fixed Term - Academic

The Centre of Research in the Arts is seeking a research administrator to be appointed as soon as possible after the 1st of February 2022. This is a part time, (0.4FTE) post, fixed term for one year.
 
The RA will provide comprehensive administrative support for research staff, students, services and activities across the School of Arts and the Centre of Research in the Arts (CoRA).
 
In particular, the RA will provide administrative and other support to academic research staff and students including: Support research administrative work (guest speakers or conference keynote payments, marketing for the research centre’s activities); Liaison with the Faculty Marketing team to ensure research marketing materials and research webpages are appropriate, up-to-date and available ; Attendance at internal events to promote research in the school (This may require occasional attendance outside of normal working hours); Organising induction of new research staff and training/networking events for research staff.
 
Significant administrative experience in support to a research project is required as well as good IT skills and an understanding of research activities; ability to work on own initiative; team-working experience; problem-solving skills; flexible approach to working; excellent communication skills.
