The Researcher Development Administrator will play a central role in supporting the University’s provision for the development of research active staff across the organisation. The role holder will work closely with colleagues from all functional areas of RIBE (Research, Innovation & Business Engagement Directorate) and the Dean of the Institute for Advanced Studies, as well as working collaboratively with the Postgraduate Research Administrator. The role holder will be responsible for operational and administrative aspects of the Researcher Development Programme. This will provide effective support for the University’s research active staff community including co-ordination, enhancement and promotion of a diverse programme of events and training. The role holder will support stakeholder focused communication and promotion of all researcher development activities. They will deliver a highly professional level of administration as the first point of contact for the researcher development programme.
