A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Project Manager (80%FTE) to play a key role in the success of the project ‘That’s me!: Eliminating barriers to postgraduate research study in the West Midlands’ funded jointly by the Office for Students and Research England.
We are looking for a person who is experienced in project management as well as creative, engaging and tenacious in delivering initiatives in support of sustainable change. We want someone who aligns with our values on inclusivity, but also who supports and enables the pursuit of excellence in all that we do. Influencing and project management skills will be key to making a difference in driving forward this important agenda.
Project Manager Role and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project and ensuring that contractual requirements are met. They will need to:
You will already have Project Management experience, including end-to-end delivery of at least one project with significant change. Ideally, you will also have worked on delivering and embedding organisation-wide equality, diversity and inclusion projects. We need someone with a “can do” attitude to join our friendly and ambitious consortium. You will be able to build, manage and motivate diverse project teams in a matrix management environment.
