About the Role

We seek two exceptional GPs to join our highly successful and expanding team of academic educators committed to inspiring the next generation of the primary care workforce.

Both of these new educational posts are part time (0.5 FTE) in the Community-Based Medical Education Unit (CBME) at Bart and the London Medical School. Appointments less than 0.5 FTE will be considered for the right candidate.

Supervised and supported by CBME senior team, you will be expected to:

1) Contribute to the design, review and delivery of CBME clinical placements; the materials and assessments (one post initially focused on year 4 and one on year 2), development of clinical placements in the line with our new curriculum and to tutor training.

2) Show promise as a scholar through evaluation, research presentations, higher qualifications and publications

About You

You must hold a medical degree, MRCGP, be GMC registered and have recent experience of as a GP. We would particularly support candidates with a commitment to a career in medical education. Interest in international primary care, medical humanities and or health equity would be an advantage

The starting salary will be in the range of £50,025-£59,845 pa pro rata dependent upon experience, inclusive of London Allowance.
