About The Inner Temple
Anyone who wishes to become a barrister in England and Wales must join one of the four Inns of Court. Established around the middle of the fourteenth century and located in what is now central London, the role of the Inns has changed over time. However, while most of legal education has been devolved to higher education institutions, the Inns still continue to play an essential part in education and training for the Bar.
About the Education and Training Department
The Inner Temple fulfils its role in training and supporting both student and qualified barristers through Education and Training activities, these activities are arranged by the Inn’s dedicated Education and Training Department. The Department is responsible for:
While leading the education and training of student and qualified barristers, other departments like the Library and the Inn’s Treasury’s team make up the totality of the Inn’s educational offer.

Education Support Services Co-ordinator
The purpose of the Education Support Services Co-ordinator role is to be responsible for operational support required to deliver education support services including support for associations and societies who receive grants from the department and all administrative aspects of Call to the Bar.
