The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Team at Durham work with colleagues across the organisation to ensure that the principles are embedded in everything we do.
Working closely with the pro:NE Project Manager and EDI Lead for Race and Religion, the postholder will provide a high level of administrative support to the delivery and implementation of key EDI policies and initiatives including the Race Equality Charter, and the pro:NE Project, as well as other strands of EDI work.
Pro:NE is a four-year, Office for Students funded regional project to increase the recruitment, retention, development and attainment of PGR students from minority ethnic groups. Durham is partnering with Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland and Teesside Universities to deliver this innovative project.
We are looking for someone who is a well organised, collaborative team player with good administrative skills. The role is an excellent opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in the area of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
