An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Skills Centre (Foreign Languages).
About the role
We are looking to appoint an instructing Fellow in Italian, who will lead on all aspects of the Italian language provision on the University's Institution-Wide Language Programme and its Community Courses programme, including:
This role is offered on a 0.45 FTE (16.43 hours a week) permanent basis.
About you
We are seeking keen, eager applicants, highly committed to learning, teaching and skills development, with experience of teaching Italian, preferably in a higher education context, to:
You will have a degree in a relevant subject area with a language teaching qualification and proficiency in Italian. You will have excellent knowledge of language-teaching pedagogy, will be open to growth and are willing to positively engage with further training and share your expertise with colleagues when appropriate.
You will also have outstanding organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to cultivate an excellent working relationship with the rest of the language team.
