Approximately 30% of faculty time is dedicated to research, pedagogical research, or other career development activities. This is a tenure-track appointment leading to a permanent position upon successful completion of tenure, usually after 24 months.
About the role
Our model reflects our commitment to holistic education and relational pedagogy:
You will primarily teach Year 2 students at our Paris campus. For the academic year 2026/2027, this would include courses from LSE’s Bachelor's in Politics and IR and our own Open Bachelor’s. The teaching focus of this role will be primarily on Political Science courses (including Comparative Politics and Public Policy).
The LSE already develops learning materials, and you will have access to existing teaching materials
You will also contribute to curriculum enhancement, student mentoring, and pedagogical experimentation within a highly engaged academic community.

You should have a passion for teaching and engaging students, be curious about new ways of teaching, have demonstrable excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact well with staff and contribute to the College’s activities.
