An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Student Administration Service with a passion for supporting students in the Student Fees and Funding Team. We are looking for someone to use their administrative and student support skills to have a positive impact on the experience of students.
You will be working specifically in the student funding area, supporting the administration of financial support and scholarship applications from both current and prospective students.
This role requires a positive outlook with willingness to be flexible in terms of contributing to the work of the whole team. Experience of dealing with students or customers would be advantageous as well as being able to work in a busy environment.
Key aspects of the role include responding to financial support and funding enquiries from current and prospective students, external agencies and colleagues. You will be required to work in a professional manner, often to strict deadlines. Maintaining confidentiality is essential and your IT skills should be of excellent standard. You will have the opportunity to develop your customer service skills in a team working environment,
You will need a minimum of 5 GCSE’s A-C or Grade 9-5. Have the ability to organise, work well under pressure and maintain attention to detail and accuracy. We would also expect you to be able to adapt your skills to new circumstances and an ability to learn and develop.
