Estates & Facilities Management Commercial Services team is a thriving department focusing on generating income for the directorate and the University. With a focus on growing current services along with product development, it is an exciting time to be part of ambitious team that provides a range of support to variety of projects across E&FM and the wider university, including sport.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support both the Commercial Services and Sport teams to maximise engagement, awareness and revenue generated from both internal and external customers including students, staff and alumni across the three core Sport strategic pillars through focused marketing, sales, communication, recruitment and engagement activity.

Our aim is to deliver and embrace Swansea University’s ‘Sport for all’ ethos that runs through our current 2020-2023 Sport Swansea: Active University Strategy and will operate across all three core strategic pillars:

The Sports Marketing and Communications Coordinator will work with colleagues from across the University as well as external partners and businesses and will coordinate marketing and communication activity to support the E&FM and Sports strategies.

The role holder must be proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. They must have demonstrable evidence in delivering professional services and solution to a wide range of stakeholders and utilising a range of online and offline marketing and communication techniques. They must be able to work together with a range of teams understanding their requirements and must show they are a team player who is willing to help and demonstrate a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
