The Refugee Studies Centre (RSC) is seeking a flexible and committed professional to work as its Events and International Summer School Officer. Reporting to the Centre Manager and working under the direction of the RSC Director and International Summer School Director, in collaboration with other RSC staff, the post holder will support the creative development, coordination, planning and fundraising for events aimed at academics, policy-makers, practitioners, and the general public. The post offers an exciting opportunity for someone who combines creativity, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively with high level organisational skills and project coordination skills. 

The post holder will have proven relevant experience of organising and coordinating workshops and high-profile conferences both online and in person, including participation in relevant fundraising. Excellent editorial and writing skills, and attention to detail, in particular in relation to proofing and compiling complex documents such as funding proposals is essential to this role. 

This is a full-time, fixed-term maternity cover until mid-February 2023.
