We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Environmental Management (Teaching & Scholarship, grade 7) within Biological & Environmental Sciences. Environmental management is at the core of the world’s global challenges and contributes significantly towards achieving the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). You will contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by contributing to teaching, assessment and administration across our vibrant undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (including an MSc in Environmental Management, now in its 35th year), in the areas of applied ecological and environmental sciences.
This is an opportunity to inspire and equip the next generation of environmental managers with an understanding of the global challenges and opportunities of the SDGs and an ability to apply management that is evidence based, fair and inclusive. Applicants should demonstrate understanding of and commitment to pedagogical innovation, internationalisation, enhancing the student experience and integration of EDI. Previous experience in integration of employers and end users with training, and the ability to add to our suite of international case studies would be advantageous.
