Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School of Architecture, Planning & Environmental Policy.
An 18 month post-doctoral position is available in the UCD School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy in the area of heritage, cultural landscapes and climate change vulnerability. `WildFIre REsilient CULtural HeriTage (FIRECULT)’ is an international collaborative project involving universities from Ireland, the UK, Italy, the USA and Turkey to examine wildfire management within cultural landscapes sensitive to climate risks. The project is interdisciplinary, comprising research methods spanning quantitative, qualitative and artistic approaches. Specifically, this post-doctoral position will assist in the leadership of a governance work-package, which aims to develop stakeholder engagement methods to co-produce novel approaches to wildfire management within sensitive cultural heritage landscapes. This position will involve policy analysis, qualitative research and stakeholder engagement.
Salary: PD1 € 44,347 - € 44,941 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
