This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Do you thrive on working in a complex environment? Do you have experience of the operation and development of programme management offices? If so, this is an exciting opportunity for you to make a real difference to the management of a strategic change programme in a world-class organisation.
The University of Leeds is one of the top 135 universities in the world. We have a truly global community, with more than 39,000 students from 170 different countries and over 9,000 staff of 100 different nationalities. Established in 1904, we have a strong tradition of academic excellence, reflected in first-class student education, along with world-leading research that has a real impact around the globe.
The University of Leeds has a new and ambitious strategic plan. You will join an influential team playing a pivotal role in supporting senior leaders across the University in the implementation and delivery of a transformational change programme through providing specialist PMO services.
As part of the Portfolio Office, you will be embedded in a Programme to implement and apply your knowledge of PMO activities for the benefit of a University strategic initiative, using your skills and experience to support the successful delivery of transformational change.
Reporting to the PMO Lead, you will support the programme leadership as a central source of truth through the collation and analysis of programme information. This will be combined with advising on the consistent adoption of best practice standards and processes, tailoring as appropriate. In doing this you will work in close collaboration with the programme team and wider stakeholders, building effective working relationships at all levels and offering consultancy support.
With an ability to balance priorities, deal with complex project data and work consultatively with others, you will have the skills to organise and work to key milestones with limited supervision.
