This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced marketing leader to join the Steel and Metals Institute (SaMI) at the Faculty of Science & Engineering, working with industry partners across the UK.
The successful applicant will join a team of industry focussed academics, researchers, technologists and industrial experts, who collectively, will provide RD&I support to the UK Steel Industry and supply chain, helping to transform the competitiveness of the industry, into a global leader in low carbon iron and steelmaking.
This role will be for 3 months initially to create and implement the communications and marketing strategy and shape the requirements of the communications and marketing support that SaMI requires. The Institute and the role will work closely with other University-led materials-focussed projects, and as such a collaborative, enthusiastic experienced communications specialist is sought.
