What you are bringing to the role is commitment, flexibility and dedication. You will work on your own, as well as part of a team, and have a passion for customer care to deliver excellent service.

Your role will include:

  • New member inductions
  • Writing fitness programmes
  • Delivering fitness classes
  • Giving help and guidance to members
  • Walking the gym floor engaging, interacting and looking after the well-being and motivation of our members

You will hold a NVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in gym/fitness instructing.

We will support you to develop your skills and gain industry recognised qualifications to further your career. In addition, our team of experts in our Professional Development Department will work with you to find a course, funding or programme to help you fulfil your potential and take the opportunities you need to succeed.

The contract is offered on a fixed term contract for 2 years and 9 months. Hours are full time (36.25 hours). You will need to be flexible in your approach to working hours, noting that the operational hours range between 05:30am and 11:00pm seven days a week. Job share arrangements may be considered.
