Casual Early Years Nursery Practioners required.
The University of Bradford's nursery provision is seeking experienced Early Years Practitioners to join their bank of temporary staff on casual working arrangements.
Successful applications will register with the University’s Temporary Staffing Service and be issued temporary assignments subject to demand and availability.
Candidates must hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare, and have previous experience of caring for children in a Nursery setting between the ages of birth to 5 years and to be able to demonstrate they have the relevant practical knowledge required for the post as detailed in the Job Description. And must have or be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
Successful candidates will be required to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, Ofsted and Local Authority care standards while planning for individual children's needs. You will ensure nursery and safeguarding policies and procedures are followed and that children are well cared for, nurtured and kept safe at all times.
Good observational and planning skills, as well as an organised approach and professional attitude are required. We are looking for pro-active team players with excellent literacy and communication skills.
The University of Bradford Nursery has been operating since April 1992 with children attending either on a full-time or part time basis.
