We are now looking to recruit a Student Services Assistant/Receptionist at our Colchester Campus.
Duties of the Role
The post-holder will be a key member of the School's Professional Services team being responsible for assisting with administrative matters relating to all programmes within the School, covering reception duties and assisting with Skills Laboratory session preparations.
The role is varied and wide-ranging and as such will contribute to ensuring a high level of service delivery to students and staff.
The post holder will at times act as first point of contact for staff, student and external enquiries and will contribute to the student recruitment process and application days, along with having involvement in working with the administration team to support other courses as and when required.
Skills and qualifications required
Applicants should possess five GCSEs at grade A-C (or equivalent) and excellent administrative, organisational and IT skills including competency in using spreadsheet and database packages.
You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as experience of planning and rescheduling workloads. In addition you will have the ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
