LJMU are pleased to be appointing a Building Information and Data Manager who will be the strategic and operational lead for asset management. This is an exciting opportunity to join the university during a growth phase. We have invested £160million in the development of state-of-the-art facilities in the last five years and we’ve got big plans for further investment in our infrastructure in the next few years. We have an opportunity for someone to join the Estate Development team as we move through the future phases of our emerging estate strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring the building and asset data and information held, that informs business planning and decision making, is accurate; providing robust, timely updates based on technical building knowledge. They will be the custodian of the CAFM system; responsible for the management and the development of the system and supporting procedures and leading the transformation from 2D to 3D building information models.
They will work closely with the maintenance, infrastructure, and capital development team to mange the flow and creation of data on the estate. This is a new post, and you will be part of the Space and asset Management team.
We are looking for an individual with the skills to manage a CAFM system for a large estate, the ability to develop and implement new systems and the talent to work collaboratively with various teams.
LJMU values diversity and provides a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can fulfil their potential.
