The Brunel Innovation Centre (BIC) is a university research Centre located at TWI’s facilities in Cambridge. BIC was established to carry out research and development in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, Digital Twin and Advanced Image processing in several applications related to manufacturing, processing, healthcare, agriculture, asset management and construction. BIC has a portfolio of projects funded by the European Commission and Innovate UK to work with companies across Europe that are of industrial nature, in the sectors including transport, manufacturing and energy, and are looking to expand the team with a Research Fellow II.
The candidate should have extensive experience in developing advanced machine learning algorithms for either industrial or medical applications. The candidate should have a track record of successfully applying machine learning algorithms to real problems as part of research or industrial projects to TRL6. The post will also involve Developing, debugging and validating codes and software using C/C++, C# MATLAB, OpenCV and Python.
