The British Museum is looking to recruit a Project Curator to co-ordinate and lead research within the Santo Domingo Centre of Excellence for Latin American Research in support of the British Museum Research Strategy. As an experienced researcher in anthropology and/or archaeology of Latin America, you will work with the Centre Director to devise research strategies and establish priorities for the Centre and guide research fellows towards achieving these goals.

With a BA/BSc degree (or equivalent/higher) in a relevant subject and knowledge of the archaeology and anthropology of the Americas, you will have experience as a supervisor or director of a research or fieldwork project. We are looking for someone who can communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences, and who has experience in project and budget management. With good spoken and written English and Spanish, you will be an open and effective communicator with a flexible and practical ‘can do’ approach
