Queen Mary Careers and Enterprise is recruiting for a Careers Consultant Team Leader.
This role is a permanent, full-time appointment.
Careers Consultant Team Leader (Careers Education, Advice and Guidance)
In this Team Leader position, you will be leading and managing Careers Consultants to ensure the delivery of high-quality careers and enterprise services to QMUL students and graduates. The current allocation is managing Careers Consultants working within the faculty of Science and Engineering but no specific background in this area is required as Team Leaders need to have the flexibly to work across all academic schools. The post holder will also deliver careers support within Science and Engineering, as well as the faculty of Medicine and Dentistry
Careers Consultant duties
Post holders also perform Careers Consultant duties (circa 80% of the time), working with academic and other staff to design and deliver effective careers education, advice and guidance.
About our team
The Careers and Enterprise Team’s mission is to develop the employability of Queen Mary University of London students from their arrival at the university until three years after graduation. The team consists of around 45 FTE, working in partnership with academic schools and employers to provide an inclusive portfolio of careers support and opportunities to Queen Mary students and graduates. The team is committed to supporting our diverse student population, distinctive for a Russell Group University, as evidenced by the Institute of Fiscal Studies/Sutton Trust report which considers Queen Mary the top university for social mobility.
Salary will be in the range of £49,476 – £55,234 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
