This is a part time, (0.4 FTE), fixed term position for 3 years.

You will be:

Contributing to the implementation and day to day running or research projects relating to the AHRC funded project: Women in Italian Film Production: Industrial Histories and Gendered Labour, 1945-85
Working closely with the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators of the research group on specific research tasks relating to the project
Carrying out data collection with the appropriate level of support and advice, keeping accurate notebooks, analysing data and report writing
Coding data using NVivo software
Conducting literature searches and reviews as appropriate
Translating questionnaires, interviews and other materials from Italian into English and vice versa.

You should have:

PhD in Italian Cinema (Film Industry)
Experience of archival research
Experience of data collection and analysis
A sufficient depth of knowledge in the subject area to work effectively as part of the research team
Good organisational and time management skills
Fluent knowledge of Italian and English language
Experience of successfully conducting research in the relevant area.
