ARU Police Education - Associate Instructor
About the role:
ARU is seeking to expand its pool of Associate Instructors delivering the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) and both the Uniform and Detective pathways of the Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP) to the Metropolitan Police Service and the Seven Police Forces in the Eastern Region – Essex, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Norfolk, and Suffolk. Associate Instructors work with us on flexible, hourly paid contracts to deliver teaching and complete marking on modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level. We are delighted to be working with our Force partners in delivering these programmes, joining us as an Associate Instructor provides you with an exciting opportunity to get involved in an industry leading program which is shaping the Police Officers of the future.
We are keen to recruit individuals to work with police training colleagues at our London-based facility or at one of our Seven Forces’ partner sites to deliver these programmes. The ability to travel between police establishments and ARU campuses is required for teaching roles within the ARU PEQF programmes. We do also welcome expressions of interest for distant learning support.
This post in based in a Non-University site and the location will be discussed during the interview.
