The Department of Education is looking for a research active colleague with expertise and experience in one or more of the following areas:
As well as broad interests in childhood and youth, education and society. You will have at least an emerging track record of research and publications in their field(s).
About the role
This post is intended to make a significant contribution to research and teaching capacity in Education.
You will make high-level and substantial contributions to writing research grant proposals and leading research in topics related to one or more of the areas listed above. Also leading sustained high-value impact activities that is of manifest benefit to the Department and University.
You will be expected to teach in Education at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as contribute to research supervision for PhD and EdD students. Teaching across a range of programmes.
This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) fixed term basis with an expected end date of 01/02/2024.
About you
We are particularly seeking staff who enjoy teaching, curriculum and pedagogic development and unit leadership work, and who would be keen to develop pedagogically innovative and intellectually engaging blended learning for undergraduate and PGT students.
We are keen to support new colleagues to develop progressive research and teaching careers in a collegiate context within our department.
