About the Role

This role will suit a proactive individual who is keen to build administrative experience and skills working in a newly formed academic unit of the orthopaedics division (Bone & Joint Health).

Acting as first point of support for the Executive Assistant of Bone & Joint Health, you will field enquiries with tact and sensitivity, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About the Apprenticeship

This is an apprenticeship position and 20% of your employed time will be spent completing learning and development activities towards the achievement of the Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship.

About You

As the purpose of an apprenticeship is to learn substantial new skills, if you already hold a similar qualification at the same level or higher, you will not be eligible. Any other qualifications will be considered, and some additional educational eligibility criteria may apply.

Eligibility for Apprenticeship Training Funding is set by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA.) About the School/Department/Institute/Project

Neuroscience, Surgery and Trauma centre is one of six centres within The Blizard Institute. The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL.

Bone & Joint Health is a new academic orthopaedic research group within the Neuroscience, Surgery and Trauma centre.
