The College of Science and Engineering is looking for a Marketing and Communications Assistant to support The Data Lab’s Marketing and Communications team

The Opportunity:

The main priority for this role will be running the social media channels, including creating content, coming up with new ideas to reach both our existing and new audiences and to benchmark our social media with similar organisations.

The Data Lab is Scotland’s innovation centre for data and AI. The Data Lab was founded in 2014 as part of Scotland’s Innovation Centres programme.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Knowledge of marketing and communication approaches and strategies
  • Knowledge of online advertising
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or design.
  • Experience of working and liaising with external suppliers, particularly design agencies and ensuring they are well briefed to meet project objectives.
  • Ability to work in user-focused way to ensure excellent customer service
