About the role
We have an exciting new post working as part of the team within Future Students Office (FSO) to support the recruitment of international student. You will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of our 5 years Global Recruitment Plan, supporting recruitment and conversion activity in a number of allocated regions, including the management of recruitment channels for China and UK China recruitment.
This will involve working closely and effectively with the wider marketing and recruitment team, supporting delivery of both on and off-campus events, exhibitions, presentations and other activities. You will also be expected to support the regional teams with day to day administrative and operational tasks to include content mapping and web updates.
About you
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with experience of studying in a UK university. Previous office experience, ideally within a customer-service or academic environment is also ideal. You should be able to display an interest in student affairs in general, together with working with people from a variety of backgrounds. This should also have helped you develop a level of cultural sensitivity, as well as an awareness of international perspectives. Fluency in Chinese is desirable.
Our ideal candidate will be articulate, confident and competent in the use of database systems and electronic communications, as well as well-developed written and spoken communication skills in English.
