Join a World-Leading Institution
The University of Oxford, ranked the world’s top university for nine consecutive years, is looking for an International Research Assurance Specialist to join the Trusted Research team in Research Services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about research integrity, risk management, and supporting international collaboration in a globally renowned academic setting.
About Research Services
Research Services supports Oxford’s research and innovation community with over 180 staff across five business units. We help secure funding, negotiate contracts, manage research governance, and promote knowledge exchange and responsible research conduct. Our values—teamwork, professionalism, empathy, and continuous improvement—guide our work and collaborations across the university and beyond.
The Role
As International Research Assurance Specialist, you will help safeguard Oxford’s research by identifying and managing risks linked to international collaboration. Working closely with researchers, student supervisors, and professional services teams, you’ll provide expert advice on due diligence, regulatory compliance, reputational and ethical risks, and research security. You will also develop training materials and guidance for staff and students across the University.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll have strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret and act on complex information, and a clear understanding of the risks involved in global research partnerships. Ideally, you will have experience offering practical guidance in risk or compliance-related areas within an academic or research context.
