This is a permanent, full time role. Part-time hours maybe considered.
LSE Consulting sits within LSE Research and Innovation at the London School of Economics and Political Science. LSE Consulting has developed over the years a significant track-record of delivering consultancy and policy research projects for national and European institutions and private clients.
The Business Development team of LSE Consulting, a team in Research & Innovation Division, provides exceptional support to consulting project activity and ensures the quality of competitive proposals against project specifications, working closely with academics and departments and research centres across the School.
The Project Officer and Researcher role contributes to business development, project management, and some research activities within the team. The post-holder will be responsible for monitoring public procurement opportunities, finding suitable expertise and supporting the development of proposals and bid submissions. Applicants should have experience in proposal development and be able to communicate with senior research and academic colleagues. The role works closely with the Project Manager to learn the technical aspects of bidding, research activities, and management.
This post offers career development opportunities for candidates as they develop the experience and skills in the role with the potential to progress to Manager and Senior Manager subject to performance.
