QA Higher Education, London 17 months Maternity Contract
Mainly home working, with occasional/adhoc on site working

Are you an experienced manager within Academic Services / Registry? Do you enjoy a fast paced, challenging environment where leading a large team to achieve success is vital for both our student journey and University partners.
About our role: As Head of Academic Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the Academic Services functions for all University Partners. Working closely with the Head of Registry and Team Leaders to manage the operation, staff and processes, ensuring that the teams deliver an effective, timely, and customer focused service. You will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams, and will be expected to form strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure processes and systems are continuously aligned with business and statutory requirements.

Manage the Academic Services teams, working closely with the respective Team Leaders to ensure the appropriate delegation of duties, adherence to deadlines, and the development of processes, policies and working practices.
Responsibility for recruitment and selection, providing appropriate training and development through effective performance monitoring and review.
To act as a key point of escalation for all Academic Services related matters both internally, and for University Partner Institutions.
Implementing, managing and coordinating a number of administrative activities and policies in line with University regulations.
Responsibility for the implementation of systems functionality within the Academic Services departments, and the development of related procedures and working practices.
To work collaboratively with new Partner Institutions, building effective working relationships, in order to agree processes, and establish effective methods of managing and maintaining accurate student records and results data
Bring your experience:
Experience of leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team
Substantial experience of student administration
Experience of working with external Partners, developing and maintaining positive working relationships
Experience of managing and prioritising complex workloads for multiple team members responsible for a number of key functions
Experience of monitoring service delivery and quality
Actively contribute to building team morale
