We are looking to appoint an outstanding candidate who has knowledge of developments in set/production design, art direction and relevant industry knowledge, skills, and networks in the film/TV or theatre and performance industries.
The appointee will have relevant industry experience and be able to lead and guide productions and research projects for film, theatre, and television, as well as deliver teaching at undergraduate level. They should be proficient in developing and communicating set design ideas and solutions using both traditional and digital techniques, including 3D and 2D CAD.
As Course Leader, the appointee will provide the leadership required to maintain the organisation and ongoing development required to ensure the successful day-to-day running of the Set Design course and work closely with colleagues in a team.
Whilst a full-time position is being advertised, we will also consider a part-time/job-share role of 0.6FTE.
