Would you like to play a key role in the development of growing research activity in a major academic health research centre, as well as support clinical research in primary care across Kent and Medway?
An exciting new post has been created to lead primary care research activity in the region with the aim of increasing research in practice and building wider research networks in primary care.
We are looking for a registered General Practitioner with a demonstrable track record in primary care research who is a highly effective research leader and has a strong publication record. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to attract research income and deliver high-impact research.
The post, which is based at the Centre for Health Services Studies at the University of Kent in Canterbury, is offered as 0.6FTE with the expectation that the postholder will retain two to four clinical sessions in general practice (0.2-0.4FTE), hosted by East Cliff Practice in Ramsgate.
