We are looking to appoint an exceptionally motivated Course Director, who can lead on our ambitious plans for the Media Production undergraduate degree within the School of Arts and Creative Industries. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all the creative, technical, and commercial aspects of contemporary media production and interactive experience design. The ideal candidate will also have a clear understanding of emerging technologies and consumer trends, and how best to incorporate these within the curriculum.
With previous teaching experience in HE and experience in managing a team and leading on curriculum design and development, you will also have excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills.
The successful appointee will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to continue to enhance the undergraduate curriculum and contribute to the external profile of the School. Reporting to the Head of Division, you will take up a balanced portfolio of academic and practical teaching across the Media Production undergraduate degree course, alongside your responsibilities as Course Director.
As a full-time member of staff, you are encouraged to maintain an active profile within the industry via your commercial networks and through continued professional development. You will also take on administrative duties, which will include engaging in the periodic quality processes of the university and curriculum development.

Please note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on site and from home, confirmation of days worked on campus are arranged with the line manager.

Grade and Salary
The Lecturer post is graded at Grade 7 – 8 (spine points 30 - 43) of the University’s single spine. The full-time salary range is £38,975 - £55,447 per annum inclusive of £3,642 London Weighting.
