About the Role
Applications are invited for the role of Director of Anatomy (maternity cover). The Director’s role is to work within a dedicated and enthusiastic team as a leader and innovator for the teaching of anatomical science in the undergraduate medical curriculum, and associated courses.
The individual will be involved in the delivery of laboratory-based practical classes and the production of supporting teaching materials as well as improvements to the delivery of anatomy practical classes and dissections. They will contribute to assessments where appropriate and will be responsible for line management and development of the academic anatomy team.
About You
Applicants will have a PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant field. They will have significant experience of teaching and assessing high quality education, with suitable experience of teaching with cadaveric material at undergraduate level. They will have a track record of working well within teams.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term appointment for 8 months, with an expected start date of March 2023. The starting salary will be Grade 7, in the range of £58,949 - £65,823 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
