We have an exciting opportunity for a set construction specialist to join our Technical and Simulation Resources team. The purpose of the role is to provide the highest levels of service to staff and students as they turn ideas into three-dimensional environments, models or props for stage and screen, using safe working procedures always.
You must have excellent practical construction knowledge and be able to supervise student activity and provide practical assistance including demonstrating techniques utilising a variety of materials. A good understanding of the design process from CAD drawings through to full-scale scenic construction is essential. Experience of prop making would be desirable when applying for this post.
