The Department of Engineering Science (Oxford) is in search of a full-time IT Infrastructure Technician to join its IT team.
 
This is a permanent opening. The individual will be joining the Infrastructure team in the Department's IT Group and will be responsible for managing the heterogeneous environment which includes both Microsoft and Linux servers, and ensuring they support teaching, research, and daily operations at 8 different sites in Oxford.
 
The ideal candidate should be educated to degree level or have sufficient professional experience. They should be well-versed in a post with similar duties and have a service-oriented attitude. Demonstrating the ability to recognise and meet customer needs, as well as implementing continual customer service improvements is key, as is having excellent communication skills.
