The Department of Land Economy is a leader in its field. In the 2021 Research Excellence Framework assessment, 67% of the Department's research was found to be "World Leading" and a further 31% "Internationally Excellent", making it the top Department in the field in the UK in Times Higher Education's ranking.
The Department is recruiting two Assistant Professors in Real Estate Economics and Finance, one of which will focus on the MSt in Real Estate. The Assistant Professors will be expected to undertake research in one or more of the disciplinary areas in Land Economy applied to real estate markets, urban and regional economic development and/or real estate finance; to identify sources of funding for such research and to build on and expand our network of contacts working in those areas; to teach on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in areas related to their expertise; and to make a general contribution to the running and management of the Department.
