Applications are invited for the above part time fixed term position working in Bangor University Students' Union (Undeb Bangor).This role is 0.6FTE position (equivalent of 3 days a week), and is part of a job share agreement with the post holder of the Student Voice Lead (Democracy and Campaigns). The role will be on a fixed term basis for 2 years with potential to become a permanent job share.
We are looking for a passionate creative and enthusiastic individual to work within the Membership Development department as Student Voice Lead (Academic Experience and Insight) . The post holder will be responsible for supporting the development and operational delivery of Student Voice Academic Experience and Insight activities in accordance with the Union's strategic goals, working closely with the elected Students' Union Officers.
It is essential that you are educated to A Level standard or equivalent or possess equivalent experience. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the development of our course representation, academic experience, and insight and research activity. The role sits within a busy and dynamic team and therefore candidates must have excellent communication and organisational skills with an ability to be flexible and adaptable. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a representative and democratic environment with a portfolio of participation and engagement in the HE / Charitable sector, with the ability to flourish in a fast-paced, student-led environment.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this position.
The successful candidate is expected to commence in post as soon as reasonably possible.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
