This is an exciting opportunity to work within the International Student Compliance team in one of two brand new roles. The role will oversee the compliance strand of the team working alongside the Principal Registry Officer (Operations).
This centralised team works with faculties, subsidiaries and professional services across the University Group in order to comply with the Home Office regulatory requirements surrounding sponsor licensing. You will work closely with the Assistant Registrar in delivering fundamental compliance related activities in support of international enrolment as well as ensuring there are effective policies and processes in place to manage Coventry University’s sponsor license.
The post holder will be expected to establish personal and departmental credibility by conducting regular meetings with key professional services, temporary staff and academic staff as appropriate.
You will also manage the workload of the office and with this will undertake the line management of a number of staff.
You should be qualified to Degree level and have experience of managing staff, including carrying out performance reviews. You should have excellent customer care skills and a proactive approach, with the ability to problem solve within a team environment. You must have significant IT experience and be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative to organise your own work and that of others are essential.
This is a permanent full-time role and flexibility to working hours on occasion will be required.
