To oversee the set up and maintenance of a database for all active clinical trials at the Oxford Vaccine Group. The database will be critical to track samples from the ongoing global COVID-19 trials and other OVG trial activities. Provision of technical expertise to the laboratory team and a central point of contact for shipping related activities for critical assay outputs. Monitor the effectiveness of currents systems and make improvements to ensure efficiency. The role will involve complex inventory tracking and record keeping for regulatory compliance and inspections. The database will be critical to track samples from the ongoing global COVID-19 trials and other OVG trial activities. The job will involve complex inventory tracking and record keeping for regulatory compliance and inspections. The testing of these samples leads to research publications and aids critical decisions about vaccine policy. You will be working as part of the sample management team to ensure that the Oxford Vaccine Group maintains efficient systems for the sample holdings to enable their most efficient use for research activities to help inform our understanding of infectious disease and vaccine development.
