Location: Covent Garden, London WC2H 9UB (some remote/hybrid working will be available)
Job Summary
This is a great opportunity for you to join our small and friendly Academic Registry team to assist with the processing of student admissions onto our four MA courses (Filmmaking, International Film Business, Screenwriting and Documentary Filmmaking). Duties will include the administration of students’ academic records, assisting with enrolment, student finance and statutory and regulatory returns.
You will process student applications, support their induction and assessment and act as point of contact, dealing with enquires from current and prospective students. You will also provide guidance to applicants on student visas and assist with the visa application process. General administrative duties to support the smooth running of the department will also be required.
The successful candidate will be educated to A level standard, or equivalent. So, if you have demonstrable experience in a busy administrative role, a good knowledge of Microsoft 365, together with excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of records management and the ability to work accurately and productively with minimal supervision, we would love to hear from you.
Experience of working within the higher education sector in Academic Registry or Student Services and knowledge of student lifecycle administration will be a distinct advantage.
We offer a highly competitive staff benefits package including 30 days leave per annum (pro rata for part-time staff), employer matched contributory pension scheme (4%), season ticket and hardship loan schemes, up to 18 days professional development leave per academic year (pro rata for part-time staff), cycle to work scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, discounted gift cards and a suite of family-friendly policies.
