Full-time: 35 hours per week

We are looking for a highly creative, enthusiastic, articulate, organised person to join our department as Development & Alumni’s Training and Development Officer. 

The Opportunity:

This role will provide training and user support for all Development and Alumni systems to ensure that different users can make the best use of data, analysis, reporting and training and that the University gains maximum benefit from these systems. This role will also support the Business Enhancement team in identifying business needs and determining solutions to business problems.

The Development & Alumni department exists to build a network of alumni and supporters throughout the world, building long-term relationships, by creating imaginative alumni and fundraising programmes and events, working in partnership with all areas across the University.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Excellent communicator.
  • Experience of designing software and business training course content to address training needs for users of varying knowledge and abilities.
  • Experience of delivering training and support to application users, locally and remotely.
  • Knowledge of training techniques and tools.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
