The Faculty of Science is seeking to appoint a Programme Officer to take forward our work in developing policy and practice associated with the delivery of graduate and degree apprenticeships. As part of the Academic Team, the post holder will lead on assurance activities in relation to Ofsted inspection requirements, producing reports that highlight the Faculty’s level of compliance and its state of preparedness for Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) Audit. The Programme Officer will lead the development of organisational policies, practices, and processes relating to the quality of apprenticeship provision as well provide support to academic and administrative teams that are currently delivering graduate and degree apprenticeships within the Faculty.
While the role will sit within the Faculty’s Academic Team, the post holder will work closely with the Vice Dean (Academic), Associate Dean (Degree Apprenticeships), Graduate and Degree Apprenticeships Business Development Manager, and other colleagues in Student Experience and Education Enhancement Directorates, as well as programme leaders and academic departments to establish and lead a coherent and comprehensive response to an Ofsted Inspection and ESFA Audit.
