Home to a truly global community of staff and students, the University of Greenwich is proud of its strong position as a truly international university that recruits thousands of international students into the UK across London and Kent and across our strong network of international partners. We are equally proud of our strong network of international alumni.

Our philosophy of Education without Boundaries means that we are committed to deliver the highest levels of student success, enterprise and employment outcomes for students from all walks of life.

The University of Greenwich is growing fast. We have committed to a multi-million-pound investment programme to employ more staff across most parts of the university. In the International Office, there are currently multiple roles for International Recruitment Officers available to outstanding candidates. This role will be specifically focussed on the Americas region. You will be joining a high performing team who have just supported the university with its most successful student recruitment year.

The post holder will need to be professional, flexible and self-motivated as they engage in a range of international recruitment and marketing activities. We’re looking for a skilled international recruitment practitioner to drive results in an international recruitment environment. You should have excellent communication (written and verbal) and be able to use your initiative and comfortable making decisions in a target-driven environment. When travel resumes the role will involve significant periods of travel overseas, therefore the successful candidate must be comfortable with travelling independently in assigned markets.

The role will be based between our Unesco world heritage campus situated right on the banks of the Thames, in Greenwich, and our Avery Hill campus in Eltham. We offer a ‘Wednesday plus 1’ flexible working pattern to ensure we provide appropriate work life balance.

We look forward to applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate a passion for and a clear commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion as well as the mission, values and aspirations of the University.

For an informal discussion please contact Graeme Tong, Head of International Recruitment.  g.r.tong@greenwich.ac.uk
