We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated member of staff, who is a good team player, to work with us as a lecturer within the School of Construction and Forestry on a permanent basis. You will be based at Inverness Campus.
We are seeking a suitably skilled person who enjoys teaching, learning and has relevant expertise within the construction industry. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sharing their experiences and expertise to the next generation of students and apprentices in the built environment.
You will be delivering modules to students across a range of courses and levels, and you will mainly deliver on our Construction Technology programme. It would be beneficial to have experience of construction technologies and a working knowledge of using design software such as AutoCAD.
You will be required to deliver and design curriculum in an innovative manner with a focus on the sectors best practice. We are seeing an effective team member who can deliver a high-quality curriculum and educational experience.
You should also be flexible, reflective, innovative, creative, and personally committed to continuing vocational and professional development.
Please include any professional qualifications or memberships.
You should possess effective interpersonal skills and have good IT skills in applications such as MS Office and other relevant subject related software packages.
